All classes includes a chef-prepared beverage and snack to enjoy while we create a three course menu, to be enjoyed together as a sit-down meal. You may BYOB to enjoy with your meal. Chef Alice can recommend the perfect  pairing. 

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Effective July 25, 2021: Due to the recent onset of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta Variant, anyone attending a public or private class must provide proof of being fully vaccinated per CDC guidelines: 2 weeks after a second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. What To Expect?

Cook, Laugh, Eat!

Chef Alice’s classes are hands-on, and designed to teach and inspire. No matter the class topic, expect attentive, patient instruction peppered with laughter, Classes are focused on teaching proper knife skills and culinary techniques, like grilling, roasting, baking and poaching. Learn basics like baking bread, how to get perfect grill marks, making sauces and the perfect vinaigrette. Chef Alice happily accommodates all dietary requests.

Public Class Cancellation and Refund Policy
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS. ALL SALES & CLASS REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL.
Treat your paid class reservation as you would theater tickets. In the event you are unable to attend, you may send someone to take your place. There is no need to call or notify us of the change. Your replacement will only need to provide us with the name of the registered participant.
Chef Alice reserves the right to cancel any class not meeting enrollment standards, to change recipes, or to adjust class limits. It is extremely rare for a class to be cancelled due to bad weather. In case of such cancellations, attendees will be notified by email and phone, and offered a full refund or credit toward a future class.
Allergies & Special Needs
When registering, participants must assume and accept the responsibility of notifying Chef Alice of any allergies to foods, dietary restrictions or other special needs of their self and/or child.
Acknowledgment of Risk (Liability Waiver)
When registering, participants must assume and accept that they will be participating in cooking activities where there is a natural element of risk of injury with kitchen appliances, equipment, knives and allergic reactions. Registering for a Chef Alice cooking class acknowledges this level of risk to yourself and/or child while participating in the activities at Chef Alice Cooking. 
Photo Permission
Participants give permission for photographs, digital images, and/or videotape of themselves and/or child to be used for future promotional or marketing material at Chef Alice Cooking. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Public Cooking Classes

    Are your classes Hands-On or Demonstration?

    All classes are “Hands-On.” By hands-on, we mean students will be slicing, dicing, stirring, and tasting. Each student will have their own cutting board, chef knife and apron, thereby maximizing the training you will receive actually cooking, as opposed to watching someone else cook.

    What is your cancellation and refund policy?

    Pubic Classes Cancellation Policy
    No refunds or class credits for cancellations will be accepted. All sales & class registrations are final. Treat your paid class registration as you would theater or concert tickets. In the event you are unable to attend, you may send someone to take your place.

    Will I receive a confirmation when I register for a class?

    Yes. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after registering.

    When is payment due?

    Full payment is due at time of registration.

    What to bring and what to wear to class?

    Wear comfortable clothing and low heel closed-toe shoes. If you have long hair, please tie it back.

    Will I receive credit or any kind of certificate upon completion of a class?
    The classes, although run professionally, are recreational in nature and are intended solely for the education and enjoyment of the students.
