Bowls encourage mixing ingredients, allowing you to build texture and flavor with layers.These healthy grain bowls recipes are as varied as they are delicious, and appeal to a variety of diets! Skills and Techniques: Working with miso, brown rice cooking method, whole grain cooking. flavor profiles, developing umami, knife skills, dressings, making broth, working with herbs.
Class includes a welcome refreshment and snack, and all food and equipment needed to create and enjoy the following three items:
Kale and Chickpea Bulgur Bowl with Avocado Dressing (Vegetarian or Vegan)
Pork Tenderloin Southwest Quinoa Bowls with Chipotle-Lime Vinaigrette
Umami Bowl with Soba Noodles,Shitakes and Vegetables. May be topped with your choice: hard boiled egg, shrimp or tofu.
